Groww Showcases AI-Powered Investing Tools at Groww Next 2026

Wealth tech firm Groww showcased its AI investing assistant GR 1, expanded Groww Prime, and introduced retail bond trading at its inaugural Groww Next 2026 event in Bengaluru.

Indian wealth tech startup Groww held its first product showcase, Groww Next 2026, in Bengaluru, outlining its next growth phase focused on responsible intelligence for all investor types. The company demonstrated an AI-powered investing architecture spanning trading, fixed income and digital wealth management.

Groww unveiled its AI investing assistant GR 1, currently in beta as an opt-in feature. GR 1 acts as a research analyst by monitoring markets, tracking news sentiment and delivering personalised insights tied to an investor’s actual portfolio. The system incorporates multiple guardrails, including consent layers and execution controls, to support responsible AI deployment.

The company also expanded Groww Prime, its opt-in service for mutual fund investors. The service now includes advanced portfolio health checks, SIP monitoring tools and intelligent nudges to encourage better long-term investing behaviour. Users can choose between a fully self-directed experience or assisted intelligence.

Expanding Fixed Income Access

Groww is aiming to open the secondary bond market to retail investors, allowing them to buy and sell bonds similarly to equity trading. The platform will offer curated bond listings alongside internal risk evaluation frameworks to help users assess suitability and exposure. Bonds have traditionally been accessible only to banks and wealthy investors.

Additional trading tools introduced include a dedicated high-frequency trading mode and a specialised physical keyboard for fast trading. Groww highlighted ongoing investments in infrastructure optimisation and latency reduction to maintain stability during peak market volatility. The firm also launched behavioural safeguards in its F&O segment, such as risk alerts, exposure monitoring and optional trading locks to discourage impulsive, loss-making behaviour.

Groww launched a family wealth management feature, building on efforts to digitise traditionally manual segments like PMS and AIF investments.

On the financial side, Groww reported a 16% increase in net profit to Rs 547 crore in Q3 FY26, up from Rs 471 crore in Q2 FY26. The company debuted on Indian stock exchanges in November last year at Rs 114 per share on the BSE, a 14% premium over its issue price.
