Groww Reports Q3 FY26 Results: Revenue Up 25%

Billionbrains Garage Ventures, parent of brokerage Groww, posted a 28% drop in consolidated net profit to Rs 547 crore for Q3 FY26 due to a one-off gain in the prior year. Revenue rose 25% to Rs 1,216 crore.

Billionbrains Garage Ventures, the parent company of Indian stock broking platform Groww, reported its consolidated net profit for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026 at Rs 546.93 crore, a decline of 27.8% from Rs 757.11 crore in the same period a year earlier. The drop was attributed to a one-time gain of Rs 315 crore (net of tax) that was booked in Q3 of the previous fiscal year.

Excluding that exceptional item, the company's operating profit after tax rose 24% year-over-year to Rs 442 crore. Revenue from operations climbed 24.8% to Rs 1,216.07 crore, versus Rs 974.53 crore in Q3 FY25.

On a standalone basis, Groww's profit after tax fell more sharply, declining 36.7% to Rs 428.45 crore from Rs 677.46 crore a year ago. Adjusted EBITDA for Q3 FY26 came in at Rs 741.80 crore, compared with Rs 598.1 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Despite an industry-wide slowdown in active user growth, Groww's total transacting user base expanded 25% year-over-year, crossing the 20 million customer mark during the quarter. The platform added 217,000 NSE active clients in each of the three months from October to December, making it the only major broker to post growth in all three months. Total customer assets surged 39% from a year earlier.

Groww's market share in cash equities rose from 21.6% in Q3 FY25 to 28.8% in Q3 FY26. In equity derivatives, its share jumped from 12.2% to 18.1% over the same period. Retail cash average daily turnover increased 21% to Rs 11,331 crore, while retail derivatives average daily turnover gained 45% to Rs 11,483 crore.

In mutual funds, Groww's market share edged up from 12.3% to 13.7%, and systematic investment plan (SIP) inflows grew 30% to Rs 12,328 crore. Separately, the company disclosed that it will acquire additional shares in Groww Asset Management Limited, a wholly owned non-material subsidiary.
