On July 16, 2026, Goat Funded Trader (GFT) announced the launch of Account Reset, a feature that lets traders continue from their current evaluation stage after a drawdown breach instead of purchasing a new challenge and repeating the entire process.

Account Reset is available across GFT's 1-Step, 2-Step, 3-Step, and Instant Funding account options, and can be used even after a trader has reached the funded stage. Traders have a 15-day window from the breach to activate the feature by paying a fee. The activation period is designed to give traders time to step away from the immediate disappointment of a setback, review their performance, and return with a clear plan rather than acting on impulse.

The feature targets a common behavioral challenge in funded trading. As traders approach their maximum drawdown, the pressure to protect an account often leads to larger position sizes, forced trades, or excessive risk-taking, which can quickly undo weeks of disciplined execution.
