FundedNext Opens Two New Futures Lanes With Rapid Pro And Rapid Daily, Ditching The Daily Loss Limit

FundedNext introduces two new futures evaluation accounts, Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily, removing the daily loss limit and consistency rule. Both offer a 90% profit share and can be passed in as little as one day.

FundedNext has expanded its futures funding offerings with two new evaluation products, Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily. The accounts eliminate the daily loss limit and consistency rule, two of the most common reasons traders fail challenges. Both products offer a 90% profit share and can be passed in a single day.

Rapid Pro: No Daily Loss Limit Rapid Pro removes the daily loss limit entirely, giving traders full control over intraday risk. It also drops the buffer rule and consistency requirement during the challenge phase. Rewards are paid every three days. The account still has a maximum drawdown, but without intraday ceilings, position sizing becomes entirely the trader’s responsibility. The firm notes this rewards disciplined risk management while punishing those who relied on the firm's rules for protection.

Rapid Daily: End-of-Day Drawdown with Daily Payouts Rapid Daily takes a different approach, reintroducing a defined risk framework through an end-of-day (EOD) drawdown model. This means the drawdown is calculated on the closing balance, not tracked intraday, so unrealized losses during a session do not trigger a stop-out. The account pays rewards daily and has no consistency rule or benchmark-day requirement. The combination targets active futures traders who want to pass quickly and withdraw frequently.

Industry Context FundedNext’s launch comes as prop firms increasingly compete on payout speed rather than account size or profit split. Competitors like FunderPro, Topstep, Apex Trader Funding, and My Funded Futures have all compressed their withdrawal timelines. The 90% profit share is now common in the futures space, but FundedNext differentiates by removing rules that many firms still enforce.

Implications for the Prop Trading Industry Removing consistency rules and daily loss limits shifts more risk onto the firm’s balance sheet. FundedNext is betting its simulator can detect exploitative behavior and that its pricing model can handle a fatter tail of winners. The broader trend suggests evaluation rules are being competed away, creating more honest tests of trading skill. However, traders should view aggressive rule removal as a signal of a firm’s confidence in its risk management infrastructure, not just generosity.
