FTMO Says Monthly Rewards Near $15 Million in September

Prague-based prop trading firm FTMO said it paid over $14.4 million across roughly 7,100 trader rewards in September, a 5% dip from August, taking reported cumulative payouts past $650 million.

FTMO, the Prague-based proprietary trading firm, said it distributed more than $14.4 million in rewards to approximately 7,100 traders during September, lifting its reported cumulative payouts above $650 million. The company published the figures on October 8, 2026.

September's total came in about 5% below August, when FTMO said it paid more than $15.2 million through over 7,500 rewards, with seasonal activity cited for the earlier bump. Because both the value and the number of payments fell at a similar rate, the firm's rounded disclosures imply an indicative average of roughly $2,030 per reward for September. Across the two months combined, FTMO reported distributing more than $29.6 million via over 14,600 payments.

Over the trailing 12 months, the firm said it has paid out more than $200 million in rewards, equivalent to roughly $16 million a month on average. Cumulative distributions have climbed by about $200 million since FTMO marked its tenth anniversary at the $450 million mark in September 2025. The firm also states it has more than 4.5 million registered traders globally.

Self-Reported Metrics

The monthly and cumulative milestones remain self-reported, as is common among private operators in the proprietary trading space. FTMO does not publish audited breakdowns and did not disclose the median reward size, the largest single payout, or how many of the 7,100 September transactions went to unique recipients. It likewise offered no country-level payment totals, though it named the United Kingdom, Vietnam and Germany as its top markets for August.

FTMO's model requires participants to first clear an evaluation phase in a simulated environment while respecting preset profit and risk limits. Traders who qualify receive an FTMO Account, continue trading with fictitious capital, and may collect real monetary rewards tied to that simulated performance. The company says it does not act as a broker and does not accept customer deposits.
