FTMO Launches Futures Trading Arm in Beta

Prague-based prop firm FTMO has launched a beta futures offering under the FTMO Futures brand, with account tiers from $50,000 to $150,000 and up to $450,000 in simulated capital.
FTMO has entered futures prop trading in beta, launching the new offering under the FTMO Futures brand. The Prague-based proprietary trading firm, best known for its CFD challenges, is using the unit to extend its model into futures markets, with total simulated capital of up to $450,000 available to traders across its account structures.
The new arm is being operated somewhat separately from the parent business and maintains its own dedicated social media presence. Traders can select from three account-size tiers ranging between $50,000 and $150,000, with monthly pricing from $119 to $229. The products are organised around 1-Step and 2-Step Challenge structures, offered in Growth and Pro account variants.
Evaluation, then simulated funding
As with FTMO's established CFD model, participants must first complete an Evaluation phase, trading in a simulated environment while using live CME market data. Those who pass move on to a Sim-Funded Account, where they trade simulated capital and are eligible for payouts. Only the strongest performers are considered for a Live Account, according to FTMO.
The launch follows similar moves by rival prop firms The5ers and FundedNext, as the sector looks to broaden beyond CFD products. The shift has been accelerated by MetaQuotes' restrictions on US-focused prop trading platforms, which pushed several firms to rethink their product line-ups.
FTMO's futures beta arrives shortly after the firm restored access for US-based traders, having suspended services in early 2024, with clients using MetaTrader 5. It also comes after FTMO's December 2025 acquisition of retail broker OANDA from private equity owner CVC, a deal that placed both businesses under the same corporate umbrella.
Founded in 2015, FTMO has expanded rapidly through new product lines and acquisitions, positioning itself among the largest players in retail prop trading as competition for traders intensifies across both CFD and futures markets.
