EXANTE launches Allocator to streamline asset manager workflows

EXANTE introduces Allocator, a new desktop trading module that enables asset managers to replicate investment strategies across multiple client accounts with automated calculations and real-time tracking.

EXANTE has released a new tool called Allocator, designed to help asset managers apply investment strategies to multiple client accounts simultaneously through its desktop trading platform.

The module is built around two core components: Asset Models and Account Sets. An Asset Model acts as a reusable template that defines a portfolio's target allocation, supporting up to 20 assets with either percentage-based targets or fixed quantities. An Account Set groups together the client accounts that will receive the model. Once both are configured, managers can push the strategy to all linked accounts with a single order workflow, and the system automatically calculates the exact number of units needed per account based on each client's investment amount. Allocations can be set as a percentage of free balance or as an absolute currency figure, offering flexibility for clients with varying portfolio sizes.

Order execution is tracked in real time via a summary table that displays active orders, profit and loss, initial value, and currency across all accounts. Colour-coded statuses give managers a quick view: green for filled positions, blue for active or partially filled orders, and red for cancellations or rejections.

Rebalancing is integrated into the workflow. Managers can adjust asset percentages, change quantities, or add and remove instruments from a model, and changes automatically propagate to all associated accounts once confirmed.

The module is available immediately for EXANTE desktop platform users.
