Euro whipsaws in choppy session as traders question rate outlook
EURUSD swung from 1.1535 at the open to 1.1563 before sliding back to 1.1539 by midday, with another leg higher starting later.

EURUSD had a volatile session. At the 7:00 open it traded at 1.1535, climbed to 1.1563 by 9:00, then pulled back to 1.1539 by noon.
On the 240-minute chart the moves appeared less dramatic, and the pair was starting to rise again after that midday low.
The price action came amid skepticism over whether a no-rate-hike prognosis should favor euro strength.
