Euro Steadies Near 1.1530 as Dollar Softens After US CPI

EUR/USD snapped a three-day decline and traded around 1.1530 in Asian hours Thursday as the US dollar came under pressure following the July CPI release.

EURUSD

EUR/USD found support around 1.1530 during Thursday’s Asian session, ending a three-session slide. The move came as the US dollar faced selling pressure after the latest US inflation report pointed to cooler price growth.

The pair’s gains reflected a softer greenback following the July Consumer Price Index data, with markets reassessing the dollar’s near-term strength. Traders will now watch whether the pullback in the US currency extends beyond the immediate CPI reaction.
