EU Welcomes Gaza Deal: Hamas Disarmament, Full Israeli Withdrawal

EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said the bloc welcomes the announcement of an agreement covering the permanent decommissioning of weapons from Hamas and other non-state armed groups.
The deal also stipulates the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip and a handover to a civilian-led transition. Details of the accord and the parties involved were not immediately provided.
