Equiti Group Partners with Checkout.com to Expand Worldwide Payments

Equiti Group has partnered with Checkout.com to expand Equiti Pay's global payment capabilities, enabling faster deposits, withdrawals, and support for digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Equiti Group, a global fintech and trading technology provider, has entered a strategic partnership with Checkout.com, a leading digital payments firm. The collaboration aims to enhance the payment capabilities of Equiti Pay, Equiti's scalable payments platform, and improve transaction acceptance rates across markets.

Partnership Details

The integration will enable Equiti clients to make smooth and secure card deposits, receive pay-to-card transfers, and use digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Cross-border transactions will also benefit from the arrangement, with faster funding, smoother withdrawals, and improved reliability for high-value, time-sensitive payments.

Checkout.com brings global acquiring capabilities and advanced fraud-prevention technology powered by AI. This aligns with Equiti's data-driven approach, creating a high-performance payments ecosystem that complies with regulatory standards.

Commenting on the deal, Gareth Bateman, Equiti Group Head of Payments, said the partnership allows Equiti to leverage Checkout.com's global acquiring network, boosting authorisation rates and reducing transaction friction for both the company's brokerages and end clients.

Remo Giovanni Abbondandolo, General Manager MENA at Checkout.com, added that the collaboration aims to accelerate funding, streamline withdrawals, and expand cross-border capabilities, ultimately helping Equiti grow faster and serve clients more efficiently.

Checkout.com processes payments for thousands of digital-economy companies and exceeded $300 billion in ecommerce payments volume in 2025. The partnership positions Equiti Pay as a leader in digital payments within the financial services sector, where speed, reliability, and payment choice are increasingly critical.
