DMM.com Securities Adds US Stocks to 'Tsumitate Kabu' Regular Investment Service

Japan's DMM.com Securities will add US stocks and ETFs to its 'tsumitate kabo' accumulated investment service starting June 8, 2026, with a minimum investment of 1,000 yen and NISA eligibility.

DMM.com Securities, the online brokerage arm of DMM Group, announced it will begin offering US stocks through its regular investment service, known as "tsumitate kabo," starting June 8, 2026. The expansion allows Japanese investors to build positions in global companies and US-listed ETFs with automated monthly purchases.

Customers can invest in individual stocks such as Apple (AAPL), NVIDIA (NVDA), and SanDisk (SNDK), as well as ETFs tracking major indices like the S&P 500. The service is designed to simplify access to foreign equities without requiring investors to manage multiple complex transactions.

The "tsumitate kabo" program is NISA-eligible, meaning profits and dividends are tax-exempt under Japan's Nippon Individual Savings Account regular and growth investment limits. The minimum investment amount is 1,000 yen (approximately USD 7), enabling small-scale entry even for high-priced names. For reference, a single share of SanDisk closed at around 280,000 yen on June 4, 2026.

Investment cycles are flexible: users may choose monthly, weekly, or even daily purchases. DMM.com Securities is also running promotions to coincide with the launch. A "US Stock Credit Trading Welcome Campaign" offers reduced trading fees and financing rates based on performance during daily, weekly, and monthly assessment periods. Additionally, from March 2 to August 31, 2026, currency exchange costs from Japanese yen to US dollars are waived.

Account registration is fully online, with a smartphone identity verification feature enabling immediate trading after sign-up. Existing customers can apply for a credit trading account via the My Page portal.

DMM.com Securities is led by CEO Ryuuji Tanigawa and is headquartered in Tokyo. The company provides FX and mobile trading tools and positions this product expansion as part of its mission to democratize stock investing in Japan.
