Devexperts Follows FOREX.com and Hantec in Offering Traders a Journal of Their Own Habits

Devexperts becomes the latest platform to hand traders a journal of their own habits, joining a roundup that also covers a management takeover at LCG, CMC Markets' ChatGPT integration and a first-half loss at iFOREX.

Devexperts has moved to give traders a journal of their own habits, following FOREX.com and Hantec in offering clients a tool for reviewing how they trade. The addition extends a broader push among brokers and platform providers to embed self-analysis features directly into the trading experience.

The launch was one of several items in the latest daily rundown of forex and CFD industry news, which also covered a management takeover at LCG, a ChatGPT integration at CMC Markets and a first-half loss at iFOREX.

Regulation, listings and retail expansion

Australia's securities regulator, ASIC, has introduced new rules covering trading algorithms, a change with direct implications for brokers whose clients rely on automated strategies. On the corporate side, BlackBull's planned initial public offering has been delayed until 2027, while Equiti has opened a second physical storefront in the United Arab Emirates, deepening its retail presence in the region.

eToro, meanwhile, is preparing to shift clients onto a new artificial-intelligence-centred application, part of the industry's wider experimentation with AI-driven user experiences. Separate analysis cited in the roundup projected that financial contracts could account for close to half of prediction-market volume by 2035.

Trading technology and education also featured in a studio interview with Amir Amidian, Global Head of Research at FISG – Interstellar Group. Amidian discussed the group's approach to regulation across multiple jurisdictions, its proprietary Flux One execution technology, designed to improve execution speed, and the role of AI in helping traders identify and learn from past mistakes. He also pointed to trader education as a continued priority, alongside plans for further international expansion.

Payments infrastructure rounded out the coverage, with a Finance Magnates webinar featuring Paytiko on why merchants are moving toward multi-PSP setups and payment orchestration, including routing based on approval rates, cost and geography, and the use of crypto, stablecoins and open banking as alternatives to a single provider.
