Decta Integrates USDC for Treasury Transfers in 32 Countries

British payments platform Decta has begun using the USDC stablecoin for treasury settlements between its divisions across 32 countries, aiming to accelerate cross-border transfers without affecting customer payments.

USDCUSD

UK-based payment platform Decta has started employing USDC, a dollar-pegged stablecoin, for internal treasury operations spanning its units in 32 countries. The move marks another step in the adoption of digital assets for corporate treasury management.

Decta partners with OpenPayd, a financial infrastructure provider, to handle fiat-to-stablecoin conversions and facilitate faster international transfers. The use of USDC is intended to reduce settlement times and operational costs compared to traditional banking rails.

Customer-facing payment services remain unchanged. The initiative is limited to the company’s own inter-company treasury flows, so end-user transactions are not impacted. Decta’s adoption highlights a growing trend among payment firms embracing blockchain-based stablecoins for back-end settlements.
