Crypto Wallet Makers Alert Users to New Phishing Scam
Manufacturers of hardware wallets warn of a phishing campaign in which attackers pose as wallet providers to trick users into revealing their seed phrases.
Hardware wallet producers have issued a warning about an active phishing campaign. Scammers are sending emails that appear to be from official wallet brands, asking recipients to 'confirm' or 'update' their seed phrase under the pretense of a security check.
Companies stress that they will never request a seed phrase or private keys. Entering these details on a third-party site or sharing them with anyone gives fraudsters full control over the wallet.
Users are advised to ignore such messages and to verify information exclusively through official channels.
