Crypto exchange WhiteBIT launches AI Hub

Crypto exchange WhiteBIT has introduced AI Hub, a new platform that integrates AI assistants directly into users' trading accounts. The solution connects assistants such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, and OpenClaw, enabling them to perform trading actions using natural language commands rather than through a traditional interface.

According to WhiteBIT's press service, the AI Hub grants connected assistants live access to the exchange's trading infrastructure. This allows them to place orders, check balances, manage positions, and execute order types including OCO (One-Cancels-the-Other), stop-limit, and trigger market orders. The system is designed to reduce friction between a trader's decision and its execution by eliminating the need to switch between multiple interfaces.

AI Hub also includes access to WhiteBIT documentation directly within the assistant, and developers can build custom solutions using the exchange's MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. The server is publicly available on GitHub and compatible with any MCP client, not limited to a single AI provider.

WhiteBIT emphasized the security model of AI Hub, which operates on a local-first basis. Login credentials and API keys remain on the user's device and are never stored on WhiteBIT servers. Users retain full control over permissions, including which actions the assistant can perform, on which markets, and within what limits. Permissions can be changed or revoked at any time without contacting support.

The exchange stated that the assistant performs actions with the same rights as the user, and does not simply read account data or offer suggestions. Routine portfolio management tasks such as rebalancing, market monitoring, and conditional order placement can be delegated to AI while maintaining oversight.

In related news, WhiteBIT's parent company W Group is expanding into esports with the launch of WhiteBIT Team, though details on that initiative remain separate from the AI Hub launch.
