Crypto.com and PYMNTS Launch AI Predictions Market Contracts

Crypto.com and PYMNTS have formed a two-year exclusive partnership to list AI Predictions Market Contracts on CFTC-regulated OG Prediction Markets, with trading due to start in September 2026.

Crypto.com has partnered with payments and commerce research firm PYMNTS in an exclusive two-year deal to launch AI Predictions Market Contracts on OG Prediction Markets. OG Prediction Markets is an exchange and clearinghouse regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and the products will be distributed through Crypto.com's introducing broker and other partners, the companies said.

The contracts are designed to be the first to turn independently measured AI adoption data into tradable market intelligence. They will cover AI uptake among consumers, enterprises and public companies, with the aim of giving market participants a way to trade on how quickly or slowly adoption is progressing.

Karen Webster, CEO of PYMNTS, said measurement generally comes before valuation during major economic shifts. She noted that PYMNTS Intelligence has spent nearly 30 months developing an independent framework for tracking AI adoption, and the new market is intended to turn that research into a transparent tool for businesses, investors and policymakers.

Trading is scheduled to begin in September 2026. The initial launch will feature more than 20 contracts spanning consumer behavior, enterprise deployment, workforce transformation, financial services, retail, healthcare and other sectors. The partnership expects to add roughly 25 contracts each quarter as it expands into new technologies and industries.

The contracts will draw on three measurement engines. One is a monthly consumer behavior study covering 4,000 U.S. adults. A second is a quarterly enterprise deployment survey of 500 U.S. companies. The third is quarterly analysis of corporate disclosures, including SEC filings and earnings materials. Full methodology, contract specifications and a settlement calendar are expected to be published before the September launch.
