Cold Crypto Wallet Sales Surge Over 100% at Russian Retailer M.Video in Q2
Hardware crypto wallet sales at Russia’s M.Video jumped 107% in units and 92% in value in Q2 vs Q1, while Wildberries reported 84% and 60% YoY gains in H1, with average prices down 13%.
Russian electronics chain M.Video saw a sharp increase in sales of cold cryptocurrency wallets during the second quarter. Unit sales rose 107% and revenue climbed 92% compared to the first quarter.
Online marketplace Wildberries reported an 84% jump in wallet unit sales and a 60% increase in revenue in the first half of the year versus the same period a year earlier. The average purchase price declined 13% to 7,900 rubles.
