Coins.ph Partners with 'The Tie' for Institutional-Grade Market Intelligence

Coins.ph has partnered with The Tie to revamp its in-app news feed, offering personalized, actionable news with live price data and verified market sentiment to its 18 million users.
Coins.ph, the Philippines’ leading licensed digital asset exchange, has rolled out a major upgrade to its in-app news section through a strategic partnership with The Tie, a provider of institutional-grade data and analytics for digital assets. The collaboration aims to give retail traders access to the same quality of market intelligence that professional hedge funds and asset managers have long relied on.
The revamped news feed introduces three core features designed to streamline the trading experience. A “For You” experience tailors news suggestions based on the coins a user owns or follows, eliminating irrelevant headlines. Articles are now actionable: users can see a token’s live price performance and execute a trade directly from the news page without navigating away. The Tie’s API filters out hype and misinformation, delivering only verified, high-impact stories and accurate market sentiment data.
Amira Alawi, Global Marketing Director at Coins.ph, said the partnership ensures users stay informed about developments that can affect market prices and sentiment. “In the fast-moving world of crypto, you need to fight for every edge that you can,” she noted. Joshua Frank, CEO of The Tie, added that his firm’s data was built to give institutional investors an edge, and partnering with Coins.ph extends that same actionable intelligence to millions of everyday users.
To access the upgraded feed, users need to update the Coins.ph app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. After logging in, they can scroll down on the home page and click “view more” on the news list. The exchange, which serves over 18 million users in the Philippines, continues to focus on making crypto trading, payments, and cross-border money movement more accessible.
