CMC Markets to Launch Prop Trading Services on 1 October

CMC Markets Funded will open its simulated trading evaluation programme to the public on 1 October 2026, with Dubai-based True North Tech named as operator and CMC Markets Singapore as exclusive brokerage partner.

CMC Markets Funded has fixed 1 October 2026 as the public launch date for its simulated trading evaluation programme. The project's website has replaced its earlier "coming soon" notice with a countdown and an early-access form that lets prospective users request an access code ahead of the opening.

Legal documents published on the site identify Dubai-based True North Tech L.L.C-FZ as the programme's operator, running it under a written Marketing Services Agreement with CMC Markets Singapore Pte. Ltd. The same terms name CMC Markets Singapore as the programme's "exclusive financial services and online brokerage partner," providing marketing, brand, data, governance and other operational support. Industry site Tradeinformer previously reported that a marketing company working with the broker said the London-listed firm was in the process of building the product.

Legal separation from CMC Group

The paperwork draws a clear distinction between the two entities. True North Tech is the customer's contractual counterparty and handles fees, participant accounts, rewards and refunds. The terms state it is not owned or controlled by CMC Markets Singapore, CMC Markets plc or any other CMC Group company, and that CMC Markets Singapore is therefore neither the operator nor a guarantor of the programme. Its regulatory status does not extend to CMC Markets Funded.

Trading infrastructure also appears to involve Match-Trader. A DNS record for trade.cmcmarketsfunded.com resolves to mtr-cmcmarkets.match-trade.com, while the newly published terms reference MatchTrader oversight, transaction histories and risk-monitoring tools. The documents do not identify the contracting entity behind that arrangement or confirm whether a commercial agreement is currently in place.

Signs of testing surfaced before the launch date was disclosed. The project's Trustpilot profile carries a verified review describing the purchase of a $10,000 challenge and access to a trading dashboard, with CMC Markets Funded responding on the day it was posted. The review predates the announced public opening, consistent with limited or invited testing. Separately, a CMC Markets Singapore job advertisement for a Payment Network and Solutions Executive says the hire would support the integration and daily operation of payment services within CMC Markets Funded, covering deposits, payouts, refunds and settlements.

The early-access page describes the offering as a simulated trading evaluation programme: participants do not trade live company capital, and any payouts are contractual rewards based on simulated performance. Finance Magnates contacted CMC Markets and Match-Trader for comment but had not received a response at the time of publication.
