China Tightens Exit-Entry Rules on Visa Fraud

Updated Chinese Exit-Entry Regulations are now in force, targeting visa fraud and intermediary agencies with new penalties and accountability measures.

China's revised Exit-Entry Regulations have taken effect, focusing on visa fraud and the role of intermediary agencies in the application process.

Under the updated rules, travelers can face a 1 to 5 year ban for making false declarations. Corporate sponsors now also assume full legal accountability for the itineraries they support.

The changes mark a stricter enforcement stance on entry and exit procedures, expanding responsibility beyond individual applicants to the companies involved in arranging travel.
