cBridge Connects Brokers to LMAX Perpetual Futures With 100:1 Leverage on Offer

Trading connectivity provider cBridge has opened broker access to LMAX perpetual futures, offering leverage of up to 100:1 on the new integration.

Trading connectivity provider cBridge is now offering brokers access to LMAX perpetual futures with leverage of up to 100:1. The move extends the range of derivatives products available to broker clients through cBridge's routing infrastructure.

Perpetual futures are derivatives contracts with no expiration date, allowing traders to hold positions for as long as they maintain sufficient margin. The 100:1 leverage on offer means a position can be opened with 1% of its notional value in margin, amplifying both potential returns and potential losses.

Broader product access

The integration is designed to give brokers a streamlined route to LMAX's perpetual futures products without requiring them to build separate connectivity. Instead, brokers can route orders through cBridge's existing framework, which is intended to simplify onboarding and execution for firms adding these contracts to their offerings.

The arrangement could appeal to brokers targeting active traders who want capital-efficient exposure to futures-style products. It also positions cBridge as a distribution layer between brokers and institutional-grade liquidity providers.

With 100:1 leverage, risk management becomes a key consideration. In fast-moving markets, leveraged perpetual positions can be liquidated quickly, and clients may lose more than their initial margin if prices move against them.

No further details on the integration, including contract specifications or rollout timing, have been disclosed at this stage.
