BYDFi Adjusts Tick Size for Multiple Perpetual Contract Pairs

BYDFi will lower the tick size on LABUSDT, MYXUSDT, TAIKOUSDT and ERAUSDT perpetual contracts from July 10, 2026, in a move to boost liquidity.

Crypto exchange BYDFi has announced it will reduce the tick size for four perpetual contract trading pairs on July 10, 2026, at 18:00 (UTC+8). The exchange said the move is designed to improve market liquidity and enhance the trading experience.

Affected trading pairs

The updated minimum price increments are as follows:

  • LABUSDT: tick size lowered from 0.001 to 0.0001
  • MYXUSDT: tick size lowered from 0.0001 to 0.00001
  • TAIKOUSDT: tick size lowered from 0.0001 to 0.00001
  • ERAUSDT: tick size lowered from 0.0001 to 0.00001

Tick size refers to the smallest possible price increment for an order. By narrowing the minimum price unit, the exchange aims to provide finer pricing granularity for traders, which can help tighten spreads and potentially improve order execution in these markets.

BYDFi noted that the tick size adjustment will not affect existing orders. According to the announcement, orders placed before the update takes effect will still be matched based on the price specified when the order was submitted.

The exchange encouraged users to review and adjust their trading strategies in light of the change. The adjustment applies to the specified perpetual contract pairs and is scheduled to take effect during the upcoming trading session.
