BTSE Group Launches BTSE Indonesia Through Joint Venture

BTSE Group and PT Aset Kripto Internasional launched BTSE Indonesia, a regulated digital asset exchange licensed by Indonesia's OJK, targeting one of Asia's fastest-growing crypto markets.

BTSE Group, a provider of blockchain asset trading and technology solutions, has announced the official launch of BTSE Indonesia through a joint venture with PT Aset Kripto Internasional. The move, announced on July 3, 2026, follows the rebranding of NVX, one of Indonesia’s leading regulated digital asset platforms.

Under the joint venture structure, BTSE Group contributes world-class trading infrastructure, deep liquidity, and robust technology to power the platform. BTSE Indonesia, in turn, focuses on user acquisition, marketing, key partnerships, and sales, leveraging local market knowledge to accelerate growth in the country.

BTSE Indonesia is licensed by the Indonesia Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK) as a Digital Financial Assets and Crypto Assets Trading Operator (PAKD). The license allows collaboration with local banks and payment gateways, as well as offering Indonesian Rupiah deposit, withdrawal, and conversion services, including IDR-denominated trading pairs. BTSE Indonesia may also introduce futures trading and other regulated products in line with local guidelines.

“Indonesia has everything it takes to be Asia’s next major crypto hub — the population, the demand, and now the regulatory framework. What it needs now is the right combination of global infrastructure and local expertise,” said Jeff Mei, Chief Operating Officer of BTSE Group.

Stephanie Kusnadi, Chief Strategy Officer of BTSE Indonesia, added: “With our deep local expertise and the support of a global exchange powerhouse, BTSE Indonesia is uniquely positioned to deliver a trading platform that is secure, competitive, and fully compliant with local regulations.”

Users can register for BTSE Indonesia at the official website btse.id. The exchange currently offers access to more than 200 digital assets with IDR and USDT trading pairs.
