Bitcoin swap service Boltz has temporarily suspended operations following a series of attacks. The platform, which enables trustless swaps between Bitcoin and other networks, did not disclose technical details but is working on a fix.

Hardware wallet manufacturers have warned users of a phishing campaign. They recommend carefully verifying app sources and never sharing seed phrases.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin miners are intensifying competition for electricity access as hashpower expands. Rising operational demands may further centralize mining in regions with cheaper energy.

A separate survey found that 69% of Russians have not found a use for cryptocurrencies, highlighting ongoing adoption challenges.
