Bitget Releases Guide for Institutional Use of rToken Collateral

Bitget has published a guide explaining how institutional investors can use rToken — tokenized stocks and ETFs — as collateral on its platform.

Bitget has released documentation aimed at institutional clients detailing how to employ tokenized equity instruments as collateral.

The rToken suite, issued by the Reality platform (which Bitget supports), includes tokenized versions of US stocks and ETFs prefixed with “r” — for example, rTSLA for Tesla and rAAPL for Apple. Reality’s 500 tokenized assets, covering names like Intel, Nokia, SpaceX, and Nvidia, are backed by a FINRA-registered and SIPC-insured broker. The platform’s assets under management have surpassed $100 million.

The guide illustrates the use of a Cross-Asset Unified Account that pools 370 eligible collateral assets — including 100 US stocks — into a single margin calculation. This setup allows crypto and stock-based collateral to be managed without shuffling funds between separate accounts.
