Bitget Integrates Fireblocks Off Exchange

Bitget has integrated Fireblocks Off Exchange, enabling institutions to trade while retaining full on-chain control of assets and mitigating counterparty risk.

Bitget, the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX), has integrated Fireblocks Off Exchange to offer institutional clients a settlement structure that separates custody from execution. The announcement, made on June 17, 2026, allows traders to execute orders on Bitget directly from an MPC-based shared wallet without transferring assets onto the exchange.

Through Fireblocks Off Exchange, client funds are held in Collateral Vault Accounts (CVAs) controlled by the trader. This setup mitigates exchange counterparty risk while still granting full access to Bitget’s liquidity and execution environment. Institutions can deploy capital and begin trading immediately after funding their CVA, with real-time on-chain settlement that eliminates manual reconciliation.

“For institutions, how capital is deployed matters as much as where it is deployed,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. “Using Fireblocks Off Exchange allows institutions to access Bitget’s liquidity while keeping assets under their own control. It reduces friction around custody and risk, while maintaining the speed required for active trading.”

The integration comes as regulatory clarity improves across major jurisdictions and institutional allocations to digital assets grow. Bitget, which serves over 125 million users and offers access to more than 2 million crypto tokens along with tokenized stocks, ETFs, and commodities, is strengthening its institutional offering under the UEX framework.

Richard Astle, VP Head of Network at Fireblocks, commented: “The separation of custody and execution is becoming the baseline expectation for institutional participation in digital asset markets. By enabling trading from on-chain collateral, Bitget is extending a structure that improves transparency and mitigates counterparty exposure without disrupting trading workflows.”

Fireblocks’ platform secures over $14 trillion in digital asset transactions. The partnership places Bitget among a select group of exchanges offering off-exchange settlement at institutional scale, addressing a key operational concern for asset managers and hedge funds entering the digital asset space.
