bitbank Becomes Title Sponsor of WebX 2026

Japanese crypto exchange bitbank will again serve as title sponsor at WebX in Tokyo on July 13-14, 2026, marking its fourth consecutive year at Asia's largest Web3 conference.

bitbank Inc., the operator of the crypto-asset exchange bitbank, announced that it will join WebX as a title sponsor for the fourth consecutive year. WebX, described as Asia's largest Web3 conference, is scheduled for July 13-14, 2026, at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo. The event is organized by the WebX Executive Committee and planned and operated by CoinPost.

The Tokyo-based exchange, led by CEO Noriyuki Hirosue, said its presence at this year's event will include a special bitbank booth, marking the fourth time it has exhibited. The company said the booth will feature content available only at the venue, and that it will announce further details through its official social media channels. It added that the aim is to help visitors from Japan and overseas feel more familiar with crypto assets.

Hirosue said in a statement that the company is honored to take part as title sponsor for the fourth year. He described the current period as a turning point for crypto assets as they move toward becoming a regular part of financial products. He cited discussions about the transition to Japan's Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and institutional preparations aimed at making Bitcoin ETFs a reality, saying efforts to build an environment for healthy market growth are progressing.

The company added that it will continue to support projects in the crypto and blockchain space to expand use cases for digital assets.

WebX was first held in 2023. The conference brings together companies, projects, entrepreneurs, investors, government officials and media active in blockchain, crypto assets and Web3 technologies, with the stated goal of enabling open exchanges across industry boundaries and creating opportunities for business development and new discoveries.
