Binance to Restrict Eight Services and Delist 22 Tokens in…

Binance will restrict eight products and remove 22 tokens for Brazilian customers from Oct. 27, 2026, while migrating accounts to local entities under new central bank rules.

Binance said on October 8 that it will wind down eight service lines and end trading access to 22 tokens for customers in Brazil starting October 27, 2026, as it reworks its local business around new Central Bank of Brazil rules for virtual-asset providers. Brazilian accounts are to be moved to local group entities by October 29. The exchange stressed the move is not an exit from the country: spot trading and other permitted services will keep running through its Brazilian operation.

The eight affected products are Binance Loans, Binance Pool, Cloud Mining, Margin, Launchpool, Megadrop, HODLer Airdrops and Alpha 2.0. From October 27, Brazilian users will not be able to open new positions in any of them. Outstanding loans move into a repayment-only phase, with Binance saying borrowers will not face extra penalties tied to the transition. Existing margin positions opened through the group's Abu Dhabi entity can stay open, but clients cannot enlarge exposure, add collateral or take on new borrowings, and no mandatory closing date has been set.

The token list being withdrawn from local trading includes XVG, USDE, USTC, DCR, DUSK, PIVX, BB, MANTRA, ONE, GMT, TFUEL, ZIL, ONT, RVN, ACX, HIT, PYR, VANRY, VIC, ICX, SCRT and STORJ. Customers can trade them until October 27; after that, holdings may be kept, withdrawn or reinvested under the platform's arrangements. The change applies to Brazilian residents only and is not a global delisting.

Local entities and compliance

The restructuring follows Central Bank of Brazil Resolutions 519, 520 and 521, which set authorization, operational control and reporting duties for virtual-asset service providers. Under the plan, customers will receive individual payment accounts through Binance Brasil Corretora de Câmbio e Valores Mobiliários, previously Sim;paul, while regulated crypto services come from BBrasil Sociedade Prestadora de Serviços de Ativos Virtuais. Custody remains with Nest Clearing and Custody, regulated in Abu Dhabi. Binance said most users will not need to repeat identity verification unless their details require updating.

Derivatives are not offered directly to Brazilian residents via the local entity; eligible clients accessing them independently may use a separate international account run through Abu Dhabi, subject to its terms. From November 1, international crypto transfers will require extra information on transaction purpose and counterparties, and Binance will report qualifying transactions to the central bank, with possible delays when data is missing. Risk-profile assessments and revised tax-reporting arrangements will also follow the migration.

For Binance, the shift is a sizable operational adjustment in one of Latin America's largest crypto markets. Brazilian users face a narrower product menu, fewer tradable tokens and heavier compliance requirements, even as ordinary spot trading remains intact.
