AUD/NZD Slips After RBA Policy Decision

The Australian dollar edged lower against its New Zealand counterpart on Tuesday, with AUD/NZD trading near 1.1960 following the Reserve Bank of Australia's monetary policy announcement.

The Australian dollar reversed early gains against the New Zealand dollar during Asian trading after the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) concluded its latest policy meeting.

AUD/NZD, which had been trading higher earlier in the session, pared those advances and drifted to around 1.1960. The pair remained under pressure as markets digested the RBA’s decision.

No further details were immediately available on the central bank’s rationale.
