The MSCI Asia Pacific Index fell 0.2%, while South Korea's KOSPI declined 1%, reflecting the cautious mood. The pullback came after the S&P 500 retreated from a record high overnight, and a semiconductor index lost more than 1%.
Notably, Nvidia shares bucked the trend and advanced, while SpaceX shares tumbled 14% ahead of the release of roughly $101 billion worth of shares for trading.
