Anthropic entered a $10 billion compute deal with Volta, a months‑old infrastructure startup backed by Nvidia. The six‑year agreement will be fulfilled in partnership with Bitdeer Technologies, a Bitcoin miner that operates data centers.
The Norway‑based site offers 133MW of capacity and will run Nvidia’s latest Vera Rubin chips. Separately, Volta announced a $300 million venture funding round at a $2.4 billion valuation, underscoring intense investor demand for AI‑scale computing infrastructure.
