Adjustment to Funding Rate Interval for Perpetual Contract 1000BONKUSDC
BYDFi will shorten the funding rate settlement for 1000BONKUSDC perpetuals from every 8 hours to every 4 hours, effective July 17, 2026.
Crypto exchange BYDFi announced a change to the funding rate interval for its 1000BONKUSDC perpetual contract. Starting July 17, 2026, at 04:00 UTC+8, the settlement period will be reduced from every 8 hours to every 4 hours.
The adjustment is intended to enhance the trading environment and improve user protection, according to the exchange. Traders holding positions in 1000BONKUSDC are advised to review their strategies ahead of the change.
BYDFi also noted that it may implement additional protective measures for the contract under extreme market conditions without further notice. These measures could include adjustments to leverage and margin requirements—such as maximum leverage per tier, position limits, and maintenance margin rate—as well as changes to the funding rate itself, including the basic interest rate, premium index, and fee cap.
The exchange is offering 24-hour online customer support and an email contact for users with questions about the update.
This change applies only to the 1000BONKUSDC perpetual pair and does not affect other contracts listed on the platform.
