The Money Flow Index (MFI) is a volume-weighted version of RSI. It combines price and volume into a 0–100 oscillator, so it reflects not just momentum but how much conviction backs each move.
How traders use it
- Above 80 is overbought and below 20 oversold, weighted by volume.
- Divergence between MFI and price flags moves running out of money flow.
- Because it includes volume, MFI can confirm or question a price trend.
