How to read the map
Area answers one question: where is the money today. A pair with ten times the turnover gets ten times the tile, so a red square in the corner and a red square in the middle of the map are two different pieces of news.
Colour is the move over the selected window, in five steps per side. Anything inside a fifth of a percent stays neutral: at that scale a tinted tile would report noise as a move.
Why three windows
An hour shows the reaction to what just happened, a day shows the session, a week shows whether the day is part of a trend or against it. Switching the window keeps the layout and repaints the colour, so the same map reads three ways.
Where do the numbers come from
Crypto prices and turnover come from the public Binance feed, forex, indices and stocks from our market bridge. The snapshot is rebuilt every minute and needs no account.
Why is my exchange showing a different number
Turnover here is spot volume over the trailing 24 hours on one venue, not aggregated across exchanges and not including derivatives. Sites that aggregate a dozen venues will print a larger figure for the same pair.
Can I put this map on my site
Yes. The map ships as a free embeddable widget in both themes, and the snippet is in the widget gallery.
