A Bar Chart (OHLC) shows each period as a vertical line with a left tick for the open and a right tick for the close. It carries the same data as a candlestick without the coloured body.
How traders read it
- Left tick is the open, right tick is the close.
- Favoured by traders who dislike coloured bodies.
- Same OHLC data as candlesticks.
