Zaif Card Adds ETH and XYM as Reward Options
Zaif's credit card now lets users earn ETH or XYM as cashback instead of only BTC. Both new reward options are eligible for staking on the exchange.
Japanese crypto exchange Zaif has expanded its credit card reward programme, giving users the option to receive cashback in Ether (ETH) or Symbol (XYM) in addition to the existing Bitcoin (BTC) reward.
Previously, the Zaif Card automatically returned a percentage of spending in Bitcoin. Cardholders can now choose their preferred crypto asset when applying for the card, and can change the selection after their application is approved. The new options are designed to give users more flexibility to match their investment strategy.
Both ETH and XYM are supported by Zaif's staking service. This means that any rewards earned in these assets can be staked on the platform to generate additional yield. The exchange highlighted this as a key benefit of the updated card programme.
The move is part of Zaif's broader effort to differentiate its services in Japan's competitive crypto landscape. The card is issued by the exchange and targets users who want to earn exposure to digital assets through everyday spending.
