XT Launches XAUUSDT USDT-M TradFi Perpetual Futures

XT.COM will launch XAUUSDT perpetual futures in its TradFi sector on June 16, 2026, giving users leveraged exposure to gold with contract size of 1 oz.

Cryptocurrency exchange XT.COM has announced the upcoming launch of a XAUUSDT perpetual futures trading pair under its TradFi sector. Trading is scheduled to begin at 10:00 UTC on June 16, 2026, with leverage options of up to 300x.

The new contract is margined in USDT and tracks the USD-denominated price of gold, with a contract size of 1 troy ounce per contract. According to the exchange, the listing is designed to broaden its product offering and allow users to take long or short positions on a major global asset class directly within the crypto derivatives platform.

XT.COM said the pair is a "significant addition" to its TradFi sector, which focuses on synthetic exposure to traditional financial assets. The exchange plans to introduce more premium synthetic futures products and related campaigns in the future.

Funding and risk parameters

Under the exchange's standard futures framework, major trading pairs settle funding every eight hours by default. Smaller-cap pairs may use shorter settlement intervals of four or two hours. XT.COM noted that funding intervals may be dynamically adjusted when premiums become excessive, in an effort to support market stability.

The exchange also cautioned that futures parameters, including minimum price movement, maximum leverage, initial margin, and maintenance margin, may be revised from time to time based on market conditions.

XT.COM reiterated that crypto derivatives trading carries significant risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Sharp price movements can lead to the liquidation of an entire margin position, and users are responsible for their own trading decisions. The exchange stated it is not liable for any losses incurred and urged traders to exercise caution.
