XP Adds New Features to Global Account with Wise Platform

XP Investimentos has added new functionalities to its Conta Global XP account, developed with Wise Platform, including ACH and Wire Transfer options for USD transfers.
XP Investimentos (XPBR31) announced new features for its Conta Global XP international account on Monday, designed to make it easier for clients to move funds abroad. The account, built in partnership with Wise Platform—the payments infrastructure division of Wise for banks and large companies—aims to integrate global financial services into Brazilian investors' daily routines.
The upgraded account offers a complete experience for those investing overseas, from sending dollars to everyday use in over 160 countries. This marks a step in XP's strategy to solidify its financial ecosystem internationally.
Key features include international transfers in the United States via two methods: ACH (Automated Clearing House) and Wire Transfer. ACH is suited for routine transactions like recurring payments or bill settlements, processing in batches that may take up to three business days. Wire Transfer is for urgent, larger-value operations, with same-day processing and sometimes instant settlement. Clients can choose the method based on speed and purpose, with both offering high security and full integration into XP's platform.
The account also includes instant currency exchange, reduced spreads, and connectivity with global digital wallets, expanding the practical use of funds abroad.
To encourage adoption, XP is offering a promotional fee of US$2.80 per transfer, valid through the end of July for both ACH and Wire Transfer types. This move aims to provide cost predictability and boost usage of the international account.
The update positions XP not just as an investment platform but as a comprehensive financial hub that supports clients' international journeys, reflecting a growing trend of integration between investing and global banking services to meet Brazilian demand for overseas diversification.
