XM launches GOLD24-7, bringing weekend gold trading to its clients

XM has launched GOLD24-7, a gold trading instrument that allows clients to trade gold seven days a week, including weekends, as part of its expanded product offering.

Online broker XM has introduced GOLD24-7, a new gold trading instrument that provides clients with access to gold markets seven days a week, including weekends, the company announced.

Unlike traditional gold CFDs, which follow standard market hours, GOLD24-7 enables traders to continue trading gold through the weekend. XM says the launch is designed to help clients react to weekend developments without waiting for the weekly reopen.

"Markets don't stop generating news simply because it's the weekend," said Stavri Morti, Co-CEO at XM. "Economic data, geopolitical developments and breaking news can all influence market sentiment over the weekend. We introduced GOLD24-7 to give our clients greater flexibility to respond to those developments as they happen, instead of waiting until Monday."

The rollout is part of XM's broader strategy to expand its product offering and improve the trading experience in response to changing market conditions and client needs. XM says it has been a market leader in gold trading for more than 15 years. Earlier this year, during a period of historic gold market volatility, the broker said it provided uninterrupted trading and exceptional execution, including zero requotes and no rejections. GOLD24-7 builds on that track record by extending gold trading beyond the traditional trading week.

The new instrument is available to all XM clients, and the broker says an account can be opened in minutes. XM serves over 20 million clients in more than 190 countries and offers more than 1,400 instruments across devices. The company holds multiple international licenses and has positioned itself as a provider of competitive services for retail traders, investors, and affiliates.
