WhiteBIT and FC Barcelona Announce Five-Year Agreement

WhiteBIT and FC Barcelona have agreed to a five-year strategic partnership through 2030, covering men's, women's and basketball teams and introducing a club-branded crypto debit card.
WhiteBIT, described as Europe's largest cryptocurrency exchange by traffic, has entered into a five-year partnership agreement with FC Barcelona running through 2030. The deal was announced on April 24, 2026 in Barcelona and appoints WhiteBIT as the club's Official Cryptocurrency Exchange Partner.
The expanded collaboration covers FC Barcelona's men's first team, women's team and basketball team, as well as the Barça Innovation Hub. The two organisations said they will work on real-world crypto applications that can be scaled across the sports industry, with a focus on fan engagement, digital education and interactive experiences.
Manel del Río, CEO of FC Barcelona, said the renewal reinforces the club's commitment to partnerships with leading global companies and demonstrates its ability to connect with innovative sectors, including cryptocurrency, which he described as a growing field with strategic potential. Volodymyr Nosov, President and Founder of W Group, which includes WhiteBIT, said the mission is to support mass adoption of crypto by bringing technology to everyone and creating usable experiences for millions of fans.
Club-branded Nova debit card
As part of the agreement, WhiteBIT and FC Barcelona will introduce an FC Barcelona-themed design for the WhiteBIT Nova debit card. The card will combine the product's existing functionality with the club's visual identity, allowing fans to personalise it and make everyday payments with crypto. WhiteBIT said the card will also include special features and future partner advantages linked to the collaboration.
The new agreement builds on a relationship that has been in place for the past three years. The companies said that earlier phase became a reference model for bringing Web3 into real-world utility, and the new term is intended to turn joint work on fan engagement, education and digital activations into more integrated, long-term projects within the club's ecosystem.
