Toobit Achieves AAA Security Rating from CER.live
Cayman Islands-based crypto exchange Toobit achieved CER.live's AAA security rating, placing it among the top 10 most secure exchanges globally.
Toobit, the Cayman Islands-registered cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, said on May 8, 2026, that it has received an AAA security rating from CER.live, a widely used cybersecurity ranking and certification platform for digital-asset businesses. The result puts Toobit in the top 10 of global exchanges ranked by security.
According to CER.live data cited by Toobit, the exchange scored a perfect 100/100 in server security, user security, penetration testing and bug bounty management. The rating adds to Toobit's ISO 27001 certification and funds insurance coverage, which the company says supports a resilient security environment for traders.
CER.live's methodology is among the most comprehensive in the crypto space, evaluating more than 18 indicators across server security, user security, penetration testing and bug bounty programs. To earn the highest possible AAA tier, an exchange must pass technical scans and show operational transparency through recurring external audits and an active bug bounty program.
The announcement follows Toobit's latest Proof of Reserves report, independently verified by blockchain security firm Hacken. That audit confirmed the exchange maintains a collateral ratio above 100% across in-scope assets including BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC.
The exchange framed the milestone against a deteriorating security landscape. The value of hacked or stolen funds in crypto rose 31% year over year in early 2026, while AI-driven threats such as automated smart contract probing and deepfake phishing have become the fastest-growing risks for trading platforms.
Toobit said third-party verification from auditors such as CER.live is increasingly essential to establishing genuine platform integrity as attackers grow more targeted. The exchange also operates a Broker Program with direct API integration for platforms including CCXT, Altrady and CryptoCopy, and is an official regional partner of LALIGA.
