Tapbit Strengthens Compliance Infrastructure with Elliptic

Crypto exchange Tapbit is integrating Elliptic's blockchain intelligence tools to strengthen on-chain risk monitoring and align with evolving compliance standards, CEO Milton Cogo says.

Digital asset exchange Tapbit has announced a collaboration with blockchain intelligence firm Elliptic to strengthen its compliance and on-chain risk management infrastructure. The partnership is designed to improve transaction monitoring, wallet risk assessment, and detection of suspicious fund movements across Tapbit's platform.

Elliptic provides blockchain analytics and anti-money laundering technology used by digital asset businesses to analyze transaction flows, screen wallets, identify sanctions exposure, and flag potentially illicit activity. For Tapbit, the integration marks a shift from reactive risk controls to more proactive monitoring of on-chain activity.

In a statement, Tapbit CEO Milton Cogo said security in the industry is no longer defined only by speed or platform performance. He added that the future of Web3 will increasingly depend on intelligent compliance infrastructure, transparent risk management, and responsible operational standards. Cogo also noted that blockchain intelligence and AML monitoring will become increasingly important pillars of institutional-grade digital asset platforms as global regulatory expectations evolve.

Established in 2021, Tapbit offers cryptocurrency derivatives trading, spot trading, and copy trading services across more than 190 regions. The company said the collaboration with Elliptic reflects its broader commitment to security and responsible platform development, and supports a more resilient trading environment while aligning with global compliance expectations.

The move comes as crypto exchanges face growing scrutiny from users, institutions, and regulators around how they manage risk and monitor blockchain activity. Blockchain intelligence is becoming an industry standard for identifying high-risk wallets, suspicious fund movements, and exposure to sanctioned entities. Tapbit said it will continue strengthening its security, compliance, and blockchain intelligence capabilities as part of its long-term development.
