Take Profit Trader Launches PRO+ Development Tier

Take Profit Trader has introduced PRO+ Development, a restricted live account with reduced sizing, a soft daily loss pause, and a tighter end-of-session drawdown. Traders can return to standard PRO+ after about 60 days of disciplined trading.

Take Profit Trader (TPT) has introduced PRO+ Development, a new account tier designed for live account traders who exhibit sustained risk patterns. The program modifies three key parameters compared to the standard PRO+ account while keeping the payout policy unchanged.

Key Changes

  1. Reduced Sizing – The number of available Mini and Micro contracts is capped per account size. For example, a 25K account can trade a maximum of 1 Mini or 10 Micro contracts, while a 150K account can trade up to 5 Mini or 50 Micro.
  2. Soft Breach on Daily Loss – When the daily loss limit is reached, the account is paused until the next trading session rather than being terminated. The trader keeps the account and any accumulated capital. This is the most significant difference from a hard breach.
  3. Stricter End-of-Session Drawdown – The drawdown limit at session close is lower than in standard PRO+, requiring tighter control when closing positions.

Parameters by Account Size

| Account Size | Max Contracts (Mini / Micro) | Daily Loss (Soft Breach) | End-of-Session Drawdown |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | 1 / 10 | $500 | $750 |
| 50K | 2 / 20 | $1,000 | $1,250 |
| 75K | 3 / 30 | $1,250 | $1,500 |
| 100K | 4 / 40 | $1,500 | $1,750 |
| 150K | 5 / 50 | $2,000 | $2,250 |

What Does NOT Change?

Payout policy remains identical to standard PRO+: daily payments with no withdrawal cap.

Who Gets Assigned?

TPT reviews the full trading history — not a single trade or blown account. Patterns that typically trigger assignment include systematic aggressive sizing, fast and recurring drawdowns, exceeding established loss limits, sustained reckless risk management, and single-session losses that put the account at risk.

Path Back to Standard PRO+

The PRO+ Development restriction is not permanent. After approximately 60 trading days within the imposed limits — with no profit target — TPT will consider returning the trader to standard PRO+. Evidence required includes sizing within limits, session-by-session drawdown control, and no session losses that put the account at risk. Traders can request a manual review at any time by emailing [email protected].

Verdict

TPT frames PRO+ Development as a protective measure rather than a penalty. The soft breach feature ensures that a daily limit does not result in account failure. Traders who demonstrate discipline for two months can regain full PRO+ status with their capital intact.
