Selfwealth by Syfe Introduces Auto-Invest

Selfwealth by Syfe relaunched its mobile app with an auto-invest feature, improved portfolio visibility, and streamlined navigation, based on customer feedback.

Selfwealth by Syfe, the Australian brokerage platform acquired by Syfe in 2025, today relaunched its mobile app with a redesigned interface and a new auto-invest feature aimed at helping users build disciplined investing habits. The upgrade rolls out on iOS and Android following extensive customer surveys and feedback.

The key addition is auto-invest, which allows users to set up recurring investments into any stock or ETF. Investors can choose the amount and frequency, and the app will automatically place market orders on their behalf. Scheduled orders can be reviewed, paused, or updated at any time, giving users flexibility as their goals or market conditions change. "We built auto-invest after hearing from customers who wanted a simpler way to stay consistent without worrying about timing the market," said Samantha Horton, Group Chief Operating Officer at Syfe. Horton noted that nearly 60% of surveyed customers identified growing long-term wealth as their top financial priority.

Beyond auto-invest, the refreshed app brings enhanced portfolio visibility with an improved instant view that displays total portfolio value, available cash, and holdings at a glance. Stock pages have been streamlined to surface the most sought-after information, enabling a faster path from insight to action. Navigation across Portfolio, Watchlists, Stocks, and Orders has been simplified with more direct pathways between everyday tasks.

Rylan Dawes, Head of Product at Selfwealth by Syfe, said: "Selfwealth started as a community for investors, so it’s important to us that we continue listening to our users, the very people who helped build the platform. We’re excited to keep evolving the app and introducing innovative features that make investing smarter and more seamless throughout 2026."

Selfwealth by Syfe now supports more than 130,000 investors in Australia, and parent company Syfe Group manages over AU$16 billion in funds under administration across Asia Pacific. Syfe, headquartered in Singapore, oversees more than US $10 billion in assets and is backed by investors including Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures. The newly rebuilt app aims to combine low-cost trading and security with a faster, more intuitive design — without compromising the flat-fee model that made Selfwealth popular among Australian retail investors.
