REG - CMC Markets Plc - Director/PDMR Shareholding

Lord Cruddas and other PDMRs at CMC Markets acquired shares upon vesting of incentive plan awards and subsequently sold part to cover tax withholdings at 734.50p per share.

CMC Markets plc has disclosed a series of share transactions by persons discharging managerial responsibilities (PDMRs), including CEO Lord Cruddas, following the vesting of conditional awards under the company’s Combined Incentive Plan.

The transactions occurred on 13 July 2026. Awards originally granted on 12 July 2022 (second tranche) and 11 July 2023 (first tranche) vested, resulting in the acquisition of ordinary shares of 25p each for nil consideration.

To cover income tax and other payroll withholdings, PDMRs disposed of a portion of the vested shares on the London Stock Exchange (XLON) at a price of 734.50p per share.

Details of the disposals

  • Lord Cruddas (CEO) disposed of 35,472 shares, retaining 18,839 from the vesting.
  • David John Fineberg (Head of Global Strategic Partnerships) sold 38,090 shares, keeping 20,230.
  • Matthew Lewis (Head of ANZ) sold 30,202 shares, holding 14,225.

The net effect is that all three PDMRs increased their beneficial holdings after accounting for the sales to settle tax liabilities. The vestings are part of CMC Markets’ long-term incentive structure aimed at aligning management interests with shareholders.

CMC Markets plc (LEI: 213800VB75KAZBFH5U07) remains listed on the London Stock Exchange under ticker CMC.
