PU Prime Launches Australian Operations Under ASIC Licence

Multi-licensed brokerage PU Prime has begun operating in Australia through PU Prime Trading Pty Ltd, an entity regulated by ASIC under AFSL No. 410681, after building out local staff and infrastructure.

PU Prime, a multi-licensed online brokerage operating across several jurisdictions, has formally launched operations in Australia through a locally regulated entity, PU Prime Trading Pty Ltd. The company said the vehicle is regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and holds Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) No. 410681.

According to the announcement, the brokerage invested in local infrastructure and resources once the ASIC licence was granted. That work included setting up local operations, assembling a dedicated customer support team, and implementing systems intended to align with Australian regulatory requirements. PU Prime said the arrangements are designed to deliver a compliant and consistent trading experience for clients in the region.

Local commitment

Cristian Moreno, a Director at PU Prime, said the launch marks the start of the company's long-term commitment to the Australian market. He added that the firm intends to meet its obligations under the ASIC regulatory framework and to provide transparent, regulated services to Australian clients going forward.

With the entity now operational, Australian clients can onboard directly through the ASIC-regulated arm rather than an offshore entity. PU Prime framed the move as part of a wider strategy to expand its global regulatory footprint and to widen access to its trading products and services.

The brokerage holds multiple licences internationally and has positioned the Australian launch as a further step in its international growth plans. The company did not disclose financial terms, client targets or the number of staff hired for the Australian operation.
