PU Prime Launches Australian Operations under ASIC Licence

PU Prime has begun serving Australian clients through local entity PU Prime Trading Pty Ltd, which holds AFSL No. 410681 and comes with dedicated local support and infrastructure.

PU Prime has formally opened for business in Australia through a locally incorporated subsidiary, PU Prime Trading Pty Ltd, which operates under an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL No. 410681) granted by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. The broker announced the launch on 3 September 2026, describing it as the start of a long-term push into the Australian market.

Local infrastructure and licensing scope

According to the company, the licence was followed by investment in the resources and infrastructure needed to serve Australian clients, including local operations, a dedicated customer support team and systems built to align with regulatory requirements. Australian residents can now onboard directly through the ASIC-regulated entity, which is the issuer of CFD products to Australian clients. The licence held by PU Prime Trading Pty Ltd does not extend to products or services offered by other PU Prime entities, and references to the wider group's international presence are presented as general information only.

"This launch marks the beginning of our long-term commitment to the Australian market. We will meet our obligations under the ASIC framework and deliver transparent and regulated services to our Australian clients," said Cristian Moreno, a Director at PU Prime.

PU Prime was founded in 2015 and describes itself as a global fintech company and CFD brokerage offering regulated products across forex, commodities, indices, shares and bonds. The firm says it operates in more than 190 countries and has recorded over 40 million app downloads. The Australian launch is presented as an addition to its existing regulatory footprint and part of a broader growth strategy.

Trading derivatives carries significant risk, and the company notes that CFDs involve no ownership of the underlying assets. Past performance is not an indication of future results, and tax rules can change. The firm advises prospective clients to read the relevant legal documents and understand the associated risks before acquiring any financial products.

The move places PU Prime alongside the brokers competing for Australian retail CFD business under ASIC oversight, where local licensing, client support and compliance systems are central to onboarding. The company gave no further detail on product rollout timelines or local staffing numbers.
