Poloniex to Support Dai (DAI) Rebrand to USDS

Poloniex has announced it will remove DAI from its platform and convert user balances into USDS at a 1:1 ratio. The transition, confirmed in a March 25 notice, begins with the discontinuation of the DAI Flexible product on March 31 and concludes with the full shutdown of DAI spot trading on April 2, 2026.

The DAI Flexible product on Poloniex Earn will stop accepting subscriptions at 08:00 UTC on March 31. Existing holdings will be automatically redeemed and returned to users' Spot accounts, along with accumulated earnings, at that same time. Users who prefer to exit early can manually redeem their DAI Flexible positions before the deadline and still keep all accrued earnings.

Timeline of the DAI delisting

On April 2, DAI deposits and withdrawals will become unavailable at 02:00 UTC. All DAI spot trading pairs, including DAI/USDT, will be disabled at 06:00 UTC, and the exchange will cancel all pending DAI orders. The system will automatically return assets tied to those orders to users' Spot accounts. Poloniex advises users to cancel any open DAI orders before 06:00 UTC to avoid disruption.

At 12:00 UTC on the same day, Poloniex will take snapshots of user positions after all orders have been canceled. Any DAI held in Spot accounts will then be converted to USDS on a 1:1 basis. The exchange said it will announce the opening of USDS deposits, withdrawals and trading at a later date.

Poloniex also noted that once DAI trading is disabled, the display of DAI prices will be suspended and DAI will be excluded from calculations of users' total balance. The exchange said actual holdings will not be affected by the change. The USDS contract address provided by Poloniex is 0xdC035D45d973E3EC169d2276DDab16f1e407384F.
