Plus500 Ltd - Half Year 2026 Trading Update

Plus500 reported record Customer Income of $460.8m and revenue of $462.9m for H1 2026, up 24% and 12% year-on-year, driven by US prediction markets expansion and OTC growth.
Online broker Plus500 has delivered what it calls a record first-half performance, with Customer Income reaching a five-year high of $460.8 million and revenue climbing to a three-year high of $462.9 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026.
The results represent year-on-year growth of 24% in Customer Income and 12% in revenue. EBITDA came in at $187.5 million, up 1% from the prior-year period, yielding an EBITDA margin of 41%. The group also added 65,723 new customers, up 17% year-on-year, while active customers rose 10% to 197,294.
CEO David Zruia attributed the performance to the quality of the customer base, proprietary technology, and the growing breadth of global platforms. “H1 2026 delivered the strongest Customer Income in five years and the highest revenue in three years,” he said.
Strategic highlights included the launch of Plus500’s B2C prediction markets offering in the US in February, followed in June by CFTC-regulated sports event-based contracts — the highest-engagement category in prediction markets. The group also expanded its OTC (contracts for difference) business into Canada and Japan, and introduced 24/5 trading on stocks and ETFs to allow round-the-clock access during the trading week.
Non-OTC revenue, comprising futures and share dealing, accounted for roughly 15% of total revenue — about $70 million — and grew by approximately 30% year-on-year, underpinned by momentum in the US operations. Plus500 ended the period debt-free with cash balances above $850 million.
Looking ahead, the board confirmed that full-year 2026 revenue and EBITDA are expected to be in line with current market consensus forecasts of $811.5 million and $368.1 million respectively, following multiple upgrades to expectations during the year. The group will report its full H1 2026 results, including new shareholder returns, on 10 August.
